Who are your favorite people to be around?

I have been around people I like and enjoy their company for a few years. I have curated my entourage so much that I can now sit back and appreciate it. Toxic relatives have mostly been cut off, or I am not around them for more than 15 minutes, either for a wedding or funerals. I avoid all parties that either raise my anxiety or depression afterward. So, I am thrilled to get to that place.
I started curating my entourage during the global pandemic since I had time to sit back and reflect on being mindful and truly enjoying myself and those around me. So, while I don’t have a specific group of people that I could pinpoint, I mainly focus on how I feel around them and how I can make them feel. It is so great when you can be your true self around someone and not feel judged for who you are. It does not mean they give you passes to be a jackass or be offensive, but kindness is flowing.

But really, my favorite person to be around is my sister. All puns intended.
