Everything gets better with age, honestly. The maturity, financial freedom, and ability to not care about people’s perceptions and opinions of you are pretty exhilarating, to say the least. I cannot believe I am writing this, but even my relationship with my parents has gotten better. There is a quiet understanding mixed with mutual respect that just does wonders for me.
My twenties’ hardships enlightened me about what matters, helped define my values, and taught me to stand my ground when needed. They might have been the reason for so much growth. I could not be better when reflecting on the past few years.
