Two significant events have profoundly shaped my life and have had a positive impact on my journey. The first is the arrival of Jesus Christ on Earth, His sacrificial death on the cross, and the redemption it brought for humanity. This powerful act of love saves me from eternal separation from God and grants me the incredible privilege of accessing the divine presence whenever I seek solace and guidance. The profound message of hope and salvation fills my heart with joy, and I find myself celebrating this truth with a resounding “Hallelujah” for all eternity.
The second pivotal moment is rooted in the history of Haiti. I am deeply inspired by Jacques Dessalines and the courageous Haitian heroes who fought tirelessly to break free from the chains of slavery. Their determination and sacrifice led to the establishment of Haiti as the first black-led republic in the world. This monumental achievement is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. This history instilled a sense of pride and a deep understanding of the struggles that have shaped my identity. No matter the challenges I face in life, I hold strong to these truths, knowing that they define what is truly important to me.
