Connecting and Moving

Let’s take a moment to delve into an important issue: the selection of languages utilized throughout this blog. Over the past few years, I’ve received considerable feedback regarding this matter. Many readers desire a more consistent approach—why not settle on one language and maintain it throughout the posts? Additionally, I’ve heard concerns about accessibility for … More Connecting and Moving

… More Attends, ne pars pas.

Sans Commentaires, non mais Vraiment.

One of my biggest pet peeves is nosy people. I’m not referring to casual gossip sessions with friends—those can be therapeutic! I’m talking about people who spend hours spreading unfounded rumors. A perfect example is Teresa and Jackie’s situation in Season 11 of *Real Housewives of New Jersey*. It was cruel to purposely hurt someone for entertainment, causing her so much distress at that time. Anyway, back to the main topic: don’t you think you’d know if someone wanted you to be in the loop?

Freedom and Peace

Growing up in a heavily religious environment, where conformity was highly valued, I found it challenging to be my authentic self. People wore masks, projecting an image of perfection while secretly judging others. As a teenager, I struggled to be unapologetically myself, feeling pressured to conform to certain expectations. It was disheartening to see supposed … More Freedom and Peace

More Maturer ou Vieillir?

Can I?

Remember the text below: “You must save yourself before focusing on someone else’s situation. Growing up in a family where my parents led a life of service, the norm was to help others in all situations. Often, they would be tired from their daily tasks and still choose to use their rest time to help … More Can I?

DND All the Way!

Today is an incredibly long for me at work, as I’ll complete a grueling 10-hour shift. It’s been back-to-back with a similar change yesterday, so I’ll feel the exhaustion. When I finally get home tonight, my plan is to prioritize some self-care. I intend to start with a refreshing shower and a comforting cup of … More DND All the Way!

Reinventing in….

“Probably the F word! I am trying to be mindful, cutesy, and demure, but I live in Jersey, so I am constantly on edge with people cutting me off on the parkways, slow buses, constant road closures, tree cuttings at 9 am, and whatnot! So yeah, it is a challenge to not have the mouth … More Reinventing in….

Peace of Mind!

“Actually, yes, I am upset with Rihanna for making me repeatedly listen to all her albums with no new releases for several years! I would take a lullaby now; I am desperate for new music! Don’t get me wrong, I love that she’s been able to successfully branch out and do so many great things … More Peace of Mind!

Find your Way back

What constitutes home for me? To me, home is not just a physical location. It’s the family I was fortunate enough to be born into. No matter where they are, that’s where I feel at home. This is my standard response to the question about home. However, if you were to delve deeper, I’d say … More Find your Way back
