Boundaries!
I grew up in an environment where saying “no” was often seen as disrespectful or inconsiderate of others’ situations. With a family heavily involved in service, it felt like we always tackled one project after another, even when I was exhausted. I became tired and even resentful of this way of living.
Then, I discovered the power of saying “no” when necessary, practicing self-care, and establishing boundaries. At first, it felt strange and outside the norm, but it was also liberating! I learned to pace myself and fully engage with a few activities rather than accumulating endless projects. Quite frankly, I’m never letting that go!

Absolutely LOVE this response! I’m just now starting to learn how to enforce boundaries after never saying no.
